I had a loan with AmeriCredit and was behind on my payments due to an illness. I had an accident that covered the total loss of the vehicle but left a smaller amunt due to depreciation. I had a GAP Policy that shold have covered the balance. But, Americredit failed to file correctly the GAP Policy and added interest and penalties to the loan. Americredit transfered this loan that is greater than 7 years to GM Financial who reports this as a current loan, active, in default, and refuses to discuss this with me any further.
I finally talked with a Kenda Hayes at 817-302-7000 who the operator transferred me to when I demanded to talk to Shelly Lay with Corporate Finance, or Stephen Jones 817-302-7119 the CFO.
I informed them I will give them until the 22nd and I will take this to Court at this time.
Enough is Enough.
Just posted so any one with an issue similar to mine might be able to get them to look into their case also.
