Mike, Hope you nail them to the tree with the law firm. Another guy has sued them and won back all his overcharged interest and attorney charges. They caved in within 2 weeks. DC

I have made contact with McKee Law Offices in Philadelphia and started the ball rolling to file suit on Advanta for raising rates both unfairly and illegally...and in breech of their contract. I've already filed an FDIC complaint and got nowhere with Advanta. I also worked with the Philadelphia Business Journal to get an article published last week about that scumbag company. If you want to join me, contact me through my website at emeraldcitycoffee.net and hope to get somewhere with that. Of course, I would expect some help with legal costs...total estimate under 2k for my own case....more the merrier!!!

Please do not forget to report this to rip off to FDIC as well. Advanta Bank is regulated by FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation). Here is the website link: https://www2.fdic.gov/starsmail/index.asp If you do not report, people like Dennis Alter will get away this type of rip-off from small business folks like you. Dennis Alter should be jailed for this crime
