I am a Gold Member on AFF. I am used to scammers on that site as they seem to proliferate all sites. I recognized from the get go that he was a scammer but decided to wait and see how long it took for him to ask me for money. "Jack" is supposedly from WA state, but is a contractor over in Turkey.
After a week of back & forth email he finally hit me up for money, $13,820. I then took all the information and on October 13th I forwarded it to Adult Friend Finder. I pointed out if they check his profile it currently is missing his fake picture and says he is 50. But if you look down on the right hand side under Activity you will see the original info he used when he signed up which was a picture of an older man and the profile stated he was 70.
I have remained in contact with this scammer and since the original time has gone by when he needed to pay the tax money because he was to be returning to the US on Oct 15th, he said he managed to get the money from friends but still needs money to pay for changing his plane ticket and for his lodgings there in Turkey. Now he will be happy with a mere $1,400.
It is now 6 days later and that man still has his profile up and is preying on women. AFF has an option to report profiles. When you click on that option it then gives you a "reason" selection. I chose "fake account". I don't understand why it takes so long to remove an account when someone is trying to steal from your other clients.
This is ridiculous. Women be smart & be cautious. Becareful what information you give out as well as sending pictures as these scammers then take them setting up new accounts with your pictures and information so they can try to scam other men.
AFF shame on you for not responding immediately when you get a report of this nature. I will certainly NOT be renewing my membership.

These scammers are everywhere and on every site. They are easy to spot ie: bad grammar, overseas, etc. So you were smart
