On 11/21/2016 I received an email Adriana with www.easyhomevendor.com her email: [email protected]. Here's the message: Her email bounces back.

"Hi my name, i was looking at your profile, just thought this may be right up your street www.easyhomevendor.com We are selling homes for REALTORS like yourself in just days. We do this by posting your listing on 50+ websites and by posting to our 5k buyers list here in San Diego. No commision, our fee is $250 but by using the code:HOME on site the price will be dropped to $50, we are doing this so you can see how powerful our system is and come back for more.. we sell homes in days! www.easyhomevendor.com hope it helps. Thanks Adriana"

I went in the website easyhomevendor.com and it looks like a real website. I did sign up for the service they charged my account $129.97. I was suppose to received an email with instructions of the log in information. It's been a week and no emails anywhere. I checked junk email and clutter folders and nothing. I've tried calling the number and the number 877-887-7815 is disconnected. One of the strange things is on my account it shows as adremus.com charged my account which sometimes is normal. I've tried contacting them also by email and phone and no response. There's no physical address for neither. Now I have to cancel my back card because if not they'll keep charging my account next month. There's no response, no way to cancel my account the only way is to cancel my bank card immediately.

I hope these crooks get caught. I've already filed an investigation with my bank and hopefully get my money back.

Looks like a scammer

There are several clues that this is a scammer.  The first one being that the original contact to you was through Realtor.com's lead generation website which is not the proper method of contact for a vendor. Secondly, if you check the "whois" on that website you listed, easyhomevendor.com, you see that it is brand new (Nov 19, 2016) and has Panama as its home.  The website is a very simple template site with no contact information (red flag).  The rest of the info is 'protected' so you have no idea who you are dealing with at all. Next, the actual verbiage in the email sent to you is clearly written by someone who's native language is not English as the idiom is "up your alley" and not "up your street."  These are all clues that you are working with a scammer. The final big red flag is that you are made an offer that is too good to be true for the price of $50.

It is unfortunate, but all of us as consumers have to be aware that others (scammers) are prolific and each time you are asked to go to a web address and spend money - check out the web address first. If it is new - don't risk it without having confirmation that the website, and the company, is legitimate. I am sorry you had to experience this first hand.  I had something similar happen to me nearly 8 years ago, so now I don't buy anything, including Realtor services, without checking it out. Be cautious and replace your credit card through your credit card vendor. I bet they try charging it again. Good luck in getting rid of these scammers.
