Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

1 Stop Maintenance not only rips off its vendors and lies to their customers about self performance, they also refuse to pay their employees! When it comes to 1 Stop, everyone loses, except the Finkelstein Family (Brett, Harvey, Danielle and Renee) they live a very lavish lifestyle! When you're allegedly funneling money to the entire Finkelstein Family that should be paid to vendors for work performed, it's easy to live like a King! Beware Retailers, you will have liens placed on your properties just as; Walmart, OReilly's and Hugo Boss have, among others! Beware Vendors, they prey on small vendors that don't have the resources and/or the willingness to fight back. A typical vendor lifecycle looks like this; extensive contractual paperwork upfront, a promise for significant business, vendor works hard for 45 to 60 days then after 1 Stop refuses to pay the vendor, the vendor stops performing work. 1 Stop just keeps cycling through its vendors every 60 to 90 days in this fashion. Additionally they tell their customer base that they self perform all work, recognizable customers like; Chili's, Meijer, Gap, Taco Bell and many others, but they are not self performing, they are subcontracting 99% of every contract... They simply send 1 Stop t-shirts to the vendor and have them wear these shirts when performing work. They also cover their tracks by hiring vendors that do not have have logos on their trucks and vans. To protect yourself, ask the technician for a business card, ask the technician to show you his trade license, ask the technician for his certificate of insurance, ask the technician to provide you with his local office address, etc. From an Employee standpoint, there are dozens of past employees that have unpaid expense reports, unpaid vacation, unpaid final paychecks and uncovered work related injuries. If you're lucky enough to receive a final check, this goes for vendors and employees, it's very likely to bounce as several dozen have recently. If you have been a victim of this company, whether you're a customer, a vendor or an employee, you need to contact the NY Attorney Generals office to file a complaint! http://www.ag.ny.gov/complaint-forms

If you're owned money, it's important that you file as a creditor and demand that the court appoint a trustee to manage the company during the bankruptcy process. Otherwise the Finkelsteins will just continue to defraud its creditors.

Also, you should notify other vendors and all customers you know of that 1 Stop does business with to warn them that 1 Stop just filed Bankruptcy. Lastly, be sure to file liens against properties you've worked on but haven't been paid for.
