Complaint Review: Wendy Alane Wright / Hollywood Winner Circle -

 So what WAW does is not a scam. She is an egomaniac and a know it all whose self importance is prevalent and overbearing on her TMFA group. Yes the information is available for free. She packages HER conception of what she thinks people need to have when they enter the industry. Sone of it is factual, some of it opinion. She's just another person in hollywood trying to make a buck. She has no reputation amongst actual working hollywood. If you want to call background work or the occasional dramatic procedural day-player role as 'working actor' then she's got a few of those on the group and good for them.

For her to charge 400 bucks and then act the way she does towards people is unconscionable. Her information is not gospel, it's just that most people are too dumb or lazy to do any actual research on their own so they give people like her money. Good for her for making a buck off of people's stupidity, but man the self flatulating in the echo chamber TMFA group is just laugable. It's like a bunch of rats celebrating mediocrity climbing over one another to nibble crumbs from the lips of a drooling fat cat. The only hollywood success that will come from the course or group is hers. Bing!

 So after some looking I've found yet another lie by Wendy Alane Wright. So she goes in her little private admin group ( yes I have friends all over) and tells them that I made a report after she deleted me from the group  wait let me quote her correctly "thanks Jason yea I saw it. Those reports was written by Aaron Howard after we deleted him from the group" 1st lol this report is sorta new and I've been gone grim that group long before the report came out.

2nd i knew nothing about it until someone used my name to say what a wonderful person she is. Then she goes on to say I teamed up with someone... again let me quote her right " Alan went over and joined Howard and the belt both bash me and the Hollywood winners circle and tmfa you can't win with some people" I think she was trying to say we both bashed her  Again lies no one teamed up against her we just know who and what she is. Just as she tried to use someone as a writer and take their material to my understanding from what I was told. When the young lady refused she kicked her out the group.

She allowed 1 of her so called agents to disrespect a black female agent and when the agent spoke up what did Wendy do? Kicked her out the group. I personally spoke up for this agent and Wendy told me to stay in my lane. I could go on and on but again lies from her yelling ppl I kick ppl out the grouo for saying her name. LIE

There is a comment above with my name on it. Umm No. Wendy is a joke and so is her taking actors money to live. No CD knows who she is. I could careless what she has to say about me. She's the biggest scam out here in my opinion

If you purchased the course and were promised lifetime access to the Facebook group when purchasing, you will be getting lifetime access and will not be charged monthly for the group. We apologize if there is some sort of misunderstanding. We do our best to be as clear as possible in our announcements.

This complaint is extremely concerning to us and we want to make sure these misconceptions are cleared up.

To the person who wrote this complaint, please feel free to contact us on our Facebook page or at our email if you would like to have a conversation on the parts of the course you think could be improved. If you have the course and are part of the Facebook group, you know that we regularly send out surveys to make sure we know what our Winners are loving, what they think could be improved and what they would like to see added. 

With that being said I would like to address the specific allegations made in this complaint as it is misinformed and incorrect. 

Wendy Alane Wrigth is a grifter and scammer

Wendy does exactly as she promises and gives exactly what is paid for. She has hundreds of amazing reviews available to view on her website and across various other platforms. Since this comment was likely made in regards to the rest of the complaint, please read on as I address the complaint.

I stupidly bought her Hollywood Winner Circle Course and then quickly realized it was all just free information she put in a packet then charges $400 for. So that is my mistake.

We would love if you contacted us to explain more specifically why you feel this way. At this time, the course explains to you exactly step by step how to get your marketing materials together, how to get representation, how to network, the best ways to find materials for your acting clips, and much more including a workbook with over 200 pages. 

"But now, Wendy is changing the rules. She invited anyone who paid for her course to join a group on Facebook called "Winner Inner Circle" but today she is now saying anyone who does not pay monthly cannot be it in. BAIT AND SWITCH!"

This is absolutely incorrect. As you can see in the screenshot that you posted, the announcement we made does not affect anyone who has purchased the course. The only changes to the Facebook group were that we decided to not allow people to purchase monthly access to the group without having the course. We did this after gathering much feedback from our Winners.

Those who were paying monthly are getting the remander of the time they paid for and then will not be able to renew. For example, if someone purchased access to the group on March 9th, they will be allowed to stay in the group for the month they paid for, until April 9th, but then will not be allowed to purchase any more months. Everyone is getting what they paid for, but those who do not have the course will no longer be able to renew their subscription to the premium Facebook group 'The Winner's Inner Circle'.

We essentially discontinued the premium Facebook group as a standalone product. It is now only for those who are taking the course. In short, anyone who paid for the course is still getting access to the Facebook group as promised. The screenshot you posted is not relevant to anyone who has purchased the course, as is stated in said screenshot. 

She promoted this scam course in a grou called "Talent Agents for Actors" which has a felon convicted of fraud as an administrator. I should have known I was about to be taken for my money. Wendy will post about the course 100 times a week preying on new actors like me.  

Now with her trying to get MORE money from us to stay in a Facebook group, it is time to say enough is enough.

So let it be known to not get tricked by her. She has no credibility and is a PREDATOR to new people in the industry. She, TMFA, and Hollywood Winner Course should all be shut down.

As stated above, Wendy is not trying to get more money out of those taking the course or anyone for that matter. The screenshot posted is announcing that those who have not purchased the course will not be able to purchase a renewal for their subscription to stay in the group. No one is being asked for more money, in fact it is the exact opposite. They are being informed that they will not be able to purchase this product again.

Again, this is stated in the screenshot the user who posted this complaint provided. TMFA is a seperate entity from HWC Facebook group where many many industry people make actors aware of their services (classes, courses, coaching) while at the same time donating their time to answer questions from actors. 

Regarding your 2nd screenshot, HWCA does have an affiliate program. This is at no cost to the actor, so I'm not sure why this is included in the complaint.

So today in the Winner Inner Circle group everyone is pissed off. She is booting people who PAID MONEY for her scam sham course if they complain. Part of the deal was we could have this exclusive group with  Wendy and people and now she is going back on her promise and making it a MONTHLY FEE TO BE IN A FACEBOOK GROUP. Are you kidding?

I feel so dumb to have paid her and more dumb now knowing I am not the only one pissed off and angry with what she has done.

She needs to be out of the industry.  I wonder why she isn't managing people? Anyone know the backstory why she is blacklisted? I talked to my agent and they told  me Wendy was the worst and no one in town takes her seriously. I got screwed by thinking she wanted to help but she just saw me as a cash cow sucker. Bummer. I got ripped off.
