In 2000 I saw a flyer from Carlo K. Oddo advertising for his comapny, then called Talent 2000, promising, "If we take you on as a client, we promise you a record deal or a full refund."  I saw another card which actually promised a double-refund!!!  They also bragged about the A rating with the Better Business Bureau, and that is what sold me on them.

Their mentioning clients of theirs such as "Good Charlotte", Romina Arena, and Stroker...  A photo with Robert Fantauzzi of Electra Records....  I dialed 4-1-1 and got Elektra Record's number and talked to Robert who told me to shop my songs to Carlo.

I sent my songs, three of them acapella.  Some days later, Carlo K. Oddo told me I had been accepted as a client.  I chose Plan D, which included a website for my song and stuff, and the promise that Carlo would shop my song to 30 record companies and 30 management agencies.

I asked him when my website would be up, and he kept promising me it would be up n two days, but everytime I entered the domain name I gave him IT WAS NEVER UP!!!

I visited his website and saw one of his clients named Romina Arena, and mentioned to Carlo that I thought she was pretty.  The next day I get this suspicious from talent 2000, in all caps except where the real capitals letters should be, saying I was a wonderful person and that Carlo was going to make me famous: signed Romina Arena.  I do NOT believe she sent that message to me!

I called Carlo up and asked, "Well, what next?"

"You're gonna be famous, man!" wa his reply.

Months later, my website NEVER was set up, so I quit sending him my monthly payment installments...

Fast forward to 2003, I see a flyer for, now called Talent 2K: contact name, Hooman Karamina (what the F*CK kinda pseudonym is THAT???!)I sent him three of my songs and, after Hooman called me back saying I had been accepted, saying he really liked my song "War in the City", I sent him a check for $150, and then two monthly installments for a grand total of $450.

I DO get offered a contract, from Jetspeed Records.  An entertainment attorney named Andrea Braurer told me the contract was bogus.  I telephoned Talent 2K and told them this, and they said they would shop my songs till they found a legitimate record company.  I never herard from them again and never got my money back.  (They still had an A with the BBB.)

Talent 2K DOES get you a record deal, a bogus record deal!  My record deal specified I would have to go door to door and sell my own CD's, and Jetspeed Records would not do anything to sell my CD's till I sold so many thousands myself.  Andrea Braurer said the wording of the contract sound like that of Statue Records from 1991, which had been shut down for corrupt business practices.

Carlo K. Oddo is a fat ripoff c***k out to sucker poor unsigned artists to mae his pockets as fat as his gut is, if that is even possible.  H*ll, the f*cker can't even speak English without lisping.  And this Hooman Karamaina...  Is Karamian even a real last name???  Sounds pig-Latin to me.

Oh, and if you visit the BBB, you'll find Talent 2K has an F rating!  Their s**t finally caught up with them, godd*mmit!
