reservations.com Typed in Marriott Reservations and Reservation.com popped up appearing to be Marriott.Given same price as Marriott, but when sent the invoice it was 50% higher. Could not cancel reservation even though a week before.
Reservations.com is a scam, pure and simple. They pop up in front of the Hotel you want as reservations. You are not dealing with the Hotel. The price they give you in one figure, then they sent you an invoice that is 50% higher. It cost me $50.00 dollars more than if I had made reservations with Marriott.
Their quoated price was the same as Marriott. I believe that this group is affiliated with Booking.com, who are a more up front and honest group. Reservations.com would not let me cancel saying it was because of the room rate.......that was a lie. I finally got someone who said they would cancel the room, but after checking they never did.
