David Leonard PFC Opinion Research -- He is rude, extremely unprofessional, incompetent, uncontrolled NYC NY
On October 27, 2020 I signed up for a paid survey on Pacific-Islanders on craigslist. I work as a professor and I do these surveys and Zoom interviews as side gigs to make extra money. I responded to all the questions and then I received a call from David Leonard the “Director of PFC Opinion Research” on October 28, 2020.
I missed his call, so I called him back immediately. I was trying to let him know my name and the survey I signed up for. In the middle of my sentence he interrupted me and rudely said, “SLOW DOWN!” I was surprised how nasty he was, so I told him he didn’t have to snap at me on the phone and be rude to me. Then he yelled, “I don’t think this is the right fit for you” and hung up the phone. I tried to call him back, but he blocked me. I emailed him and told him that I do Zoom surveys and interviews all the time and he was rude and condescending. He emailed me back saying I was a “typical Asian flake. Lighten up. And slow down. I could care less about your side gig weekly zoom calls and surveys. In fact, you’re just what we DON’T need in this study.”
I emailed him back stating I was not a flake and told him NOT to email me again. I am a professor and a US Army veteran. He then ignored my request to NOT call me again and called me “MORON” and sent another email saying, “You are boring me. Go away, professor solider LOL, and work a bit on your grammar, genius.” I have screen shots of everything that he and I exchanged via email.
He was rude, extremely unprofessional, incompetent, uncontrolled and does not know how to have appropriate social skills towards the people he is interviewing. He insults interviewees like myself and upon further review, I found reviews from people online who claim that he did NOT PAY them after they were interviewed by him. He posts ads on craigslist. It was blessing in disguise that he was so rude because I would have been interviewed for an hour and would not have been paid by this incredibly unprofessional person. If he claims to be a “Director” of a company, then he should behave professionally and not call interviewees like me names and insult them. Is this the type of person you want to do business with or hire?
