This company cares nothing about the patient's quality of life. My doctor and I have been trying to get prior authorization for my medication since early January. We have complied with their every request (mostly trying cheaper medications) and have been denied four times. I have been having to pay $1,342 (thank God for Good RX!) per month for my medically necessary medication.
I used Express Scripts previously and had no problem with getting my prior authorization approved. I have been using this medication since 2006. It affects my ability to function and live a somewhat normal life. Without it, I have problems getting out of bed without it. The Prior Authorization Department will not speak to patients and continue to reject my doctor's statements.
