I needed a car quickly and thought that Carmax was a reputable company that I could do business with.

I purchased the car July 7th 2021 in California. I made the first installment payment online in July as well as a principal only payment that is mailed to a address in Kennesaw Georgia with specific instructions including my account number to apply it to principlal only. Each month I have repeated the same process. The principal only payment does not show up for weeks after I send the payment requiring a phone call every month to try and find where my payment has gone. 

On October 25th I phoned Carmax to find where my principal only payment went.  The principal only payment had been sent October the 12th. After speaking with Jay he assured me his supervisor Carlene would get back to me about why my payment, that had cleared my bank on October 26th, still wasn't posted to my account. When she returned my call she left a phone number that does not allow you to speak to anyone. Just an automated leave a message only. It is November the 2nd and still no payment has been posted.

I sincerely regret my decision to go with this company.

I will not make the same mistake again.
