....In January of 2015, My mother and I made the mistake of opening a checking account at a local Huntington ,Indiana bank called "Bippus state bank", as my mother and I just purchased a small and very beautiful home in Huntington, Indiana, and we assumed that this bank was a"decent" bank, which was soon proved very wrong.
...That being said, we were told by the assistant manager in writing, that their were no service charges to open and maintain a checking account at Bippus bank , as long as customers had a monthly direct deposit, this proved to be a lie as the main manager of this bank gave us many unauthorized service charges on our new bank statement.
....The main manager of Bippus bank was a very nasty, repulsive woman in her late 50s, that appeared to be not only mentally incompetent, but had slurred speach, very hostile in her nature.
.....My mother and I closed our accounts immediately, and found a decent local credit union,also a national bank, that were both honest and decent.
....That said, There are many reasons why I believe customers should not open a account at this hideous bank, called "Bippus bank'.........one is the above main reason.......second is that after doing research , I discovered that this nefarious bank caters mostly to "local wealthy business owners", and to my discovery the local government municipality/county of Huntington, Indiana ,deposits all of the property tax revenue at this bank.........and holds its main accounts here.
....The third reason is that "Bippus state bank" is involved with many nefarious businesses such as "cancer research industry","hospice industries", and nefarious charities such as "Pathfinders services", and the "United way" of Huntington county.........need I say more?
...The fourth and most important issue with this bank , that I soon discovered was "The investments", which this bank tries to sell / scam customers with, that is this bank "ROLLS THE DICE", with customers bank accounts, in the "stock market", without customers consent!
...I would recommend people open a account at a credit union, or a good national bank that does not hate , or try to deceive /lie to customers like "Bippus Bank" surely has done.
