I went through a nightmare at Audi Tampa dealer, located at E. Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL.
Salesperson Ashley Mcgavern and manager Stephen Matthews sold me the worst deal I ever had. I test drove an A3 2022 very shortly and ended up leasing the car. When I drove it home from the dealer I realized how inferior the car was, with a weaker engine, lower trim line, no sports suspension, no sports seats, an no S-line, all of which I had on my previous Audi A3 2018. My payment increased but the new car has much lower quality. Compared to my prevous car the new one is a lot inferior, and the cheap seats hurt my back.
In addition, I wasn't told anything about my equity, which was $6,500. They pressured me for more money I inadvertantly put down an additional $2,500 cash. I called next morning but they wouldn't answer my calls. I drove to the dealer but they refused to reverse the lease or return my deposit so I could buy my car back, or another model. They offered me about half of my deposit back, plus I would have to pay taxes and fees again, which is another $3,000.
I agreed to paying the taxes/fees again, but the manger said the best he could do was return half of my down payment.
I heard complaints from other customers after the dealer was bought by Morgan. Their sales people are very greedy and unscrupulous. This is my fourth Audi, and my last. They lost a loyal custumer for life. Unfortunately they don't seem to care about losing customers.

Of course YOU were ripped off by still another example of the Sleazy American Car Business. However...for EVERY POINT you bring up as a ripoff, which it was, YOU could have avoided that by READING WHAT YOU WERE SIGNING BEFORE YOU SIGNED IT!
That was a legally binding document which YOU didn’t even have the common sense to read! Instead, it’s the same old garbage level crap of YOU blaming everybody else instead of looking in the mirror.

There were dozens of documents displayed on screen, and no hard copies. If you had any intelligence you would know that's not possible to read so many documents and details in short time, specially when you have so much to go through when buying or leasing a car. BE REASONABLE! Consumers should not have to worry about being DECEIVED by the dealer. The finance manager rushed to finalize the entire process in a few hours to make sure it can't be reversed.
They LIED about the car trim. They LIED about it being a four wheel drive, like my trade-in was. They sold the car was an upgrade, when in fact it was a major DOWNGRADE. Weaker engine, lower trim level, front wheel drive. AUDI TAMPA LIED!!!
As I drive through Tampa everyday (see car picture), quite a few people are giving me thumbs up or even approaching me to share that they have also been ripedd off at Audi Tampa. Who are you anyway? Why are you trying so hard to defend AUDI TAMPA? You should stop being ridiculous..

You FULLY ADMITTED here YOU failed to READ the contract BEFORE you agreed to it! That’s STUPID! If you would have had COMMON SENSE and READ what you were agreeing to, you wouldn’t be in this predicament now=FACT!

Audi Tampa did not inform me my trade in value of $6,500 (I only found out by reading the full lease later). If I had that information I would never put down another $2,500 cash. If you want more details before making incorrect assumptions, contatct me at [email protected]. Audi Tampa is a dishonest dealer and I'll NEVER buy or lease an Audi again.

"I inadvertantly put down an additional $2,500 cash" That’s absurd. No one inadvertently pays cash. You failed to properly research the vehicle prior to leasing it.
The dealer did not violate the terms of the agreement; therefore, you were not ripped off. Your dissatisfaction with the transaction is a case of buyer’s and seller’s remorse.
Happy motoring!
