Everyone, if you are looking for a storage unit, this company is not the one. I was paying $180. Per month tax included. The pandemic came and this company increased the payment to $247.40 I never missed a payment for years.

One day, on the last day of the month they sent me a termination letter that they are giving me ten day the move my belongings out. Unfair! I spoke with a Michael who fixed the problem with much conversation while I showcased his bias and nasty business practice.

He also stated the my deposit that they have and I was told I’d get interest on. Since this company Apple Storage took over. They cut my lock and forced me to buy a new lock. They give a grace period of two business days after the first. Not even that they can honour.

Today being the third day, they want to charge me $15.00 for late fee. The first was Saturday the second was Sunday. Sunday they were closed. So I go in today and they want to charge $15. For late fee. They over charge me on the insurance as well.

Stay away from Apple Storage.

This is so frustrating. The late fee that they tried to pin on me, I got an email on the 8th of November. The late fee turned into a insurance fee. They want to kick me out of the unit and make sure I can’t sue. The company is beyond evil. Record everything with these guys. They’re unreal. Also I must make note of this. October is the month in question. September I paid without a problem. But October the 2nd is when the problem started. Apple storage was closed. On the 3rd they charged me a $15 dollars late fee and because I refused to pay it. They sent a termination notice giving me 21 days to rent a new unit plus get transportation and workers. After talking with the VP he said "you have to pay it”. Their stock market must be doing really bad. Because the rip-off is on. They just want to steal my belongings in 21 days. The reprisal is in full effect. I will keep you all updated.

On the first of November I showed up at the office to pay my bill. Before entering the office all the windows and blind on the door was Shut closed. I turned on my camera on my phone. The staff demanded me to pay the late fee of $15. Which as I mentioned from the month before that they were closed on the second which was a Sunday. I told the staff I’m not going to be forced to pay when it’s not to be. They were trying to get me to leave without paying but I managed to get her to remove the $15 fee as I told her I’ve written to a few government sources to remedy the situation. She said it will stay on my file till it’s paid. In the same time the other office clerk called the cops on me saying I can not record. The police didn’t come and I left. What a headache. Today the 9th day of November after 2pm I received this email. "Wednesday November 9th, 2022 Ang—- Re: Termination of Rental Agreement for Unit Bowmanville Dear Ms. V Please be advised that your Rental Agreement will not be renewed after your current rental period ending November 30th, 2022. Please arrange for the removal of your belongings on or before that date as anything left in the unit will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation. Cheryl Grainger Regional Manager Apple Self Storage 905-717-5137” I will update this site of this bias unjust actions towards me.
