When visiting the Statue of Liberty DO NOT get taken for your tickets. Tickets should be purchased through Statue Cruises, which is the official vendor. They do not charge service fees and allow for cancelation of your tickets until 24hrs prior to your reservation. DO NOT use: statueoflibertytickets.com!!!! They are a deceptive company with bad business practices. They will charge a service fee, but do not provide any service that cannot be purchased at "Statue Cruises" without a service fee. After I received confirmation of my non-refundable tickets, I was then informed very clearly that I had been charged a service fee. The order did not separate out his fee prior to purchase, but instead buried this information in a very long legal document. I immediately emailed them for a refund due to their non-disclosure, but was refused. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after extensive research to find the company name and address which they do not disclose on their website( you must have a physical address to file a complaint with the BBB). This company was the. Deceptive again by claiming that they would have refunded my purchase had I emailed them immediately. I did this and they refused my refund referring me back to their lengthy terms and conditions. Beware- DO NOT BUY FROM: statueoflibertytickets.com !!!!
