Wholesale Furniture Liquidators ripoff-company took money for "stock" items-then declared no assets Chapter 7 Matawan New Jersey

I have just been scammed by a furniture store.
On April 19th I went to the above furniture store to purchase a living room set. I was greeted by the salesperson "Joy" who said that they had a huge shipment of leather furniture and were offering the set at a discounted because they had so many and because they were so popular. I was told that the set would be held in their Edison warehouse for me. (My home is under renovation and not habitable at the moment)
April 19th, my $1,300.00 check was cashed.
On May 22, the company filed for Chapter 7.
Now I have learned that the store does not have any assets to pay anyone, and the ones that will be paid are the attorney and trustee. (hello? they did they have a warehouse full of furniture-including my living room set)
I hope they can be exposed for the liars that they are.
