Divinci Surround Sound Speakers white van scam Erie Pennsylvania
my friends where recently involved in a white van scam in erie PA, they are foreigners and have a resturant in erie, they where told that they were top of the line speakers and sold for 2000 dollars, it even said so on the box. they said that there was a mistake and they could not find the people that ordered them. and that their boss would be angry with them if the screwd up another order and that they would discount it for them.
the box said
800 watt system
6 peice system
brackets and wires included
piano black lacquer
3 year warranty.
so naturally they agreed and bought it for 200 dollars. when they told me this i assumed it was the white vans in erie that receive stolen property so i was immediatly concerned that my friends had just bought stolen property, but they tried it out, and the sound was crap and hardly worked, so i googled it and found out many other people where having this same problem... they are mimicing the Da Vinci speakers from switzerland and also many other brands including:
