I was called 9-11-08 and was told that I was chosen to win one of four prizes. One of which was a Lincoln Navigator but that I would first need to call the Prize Director as he was in charge of prize details. The so called prize director's name was Mr. Bill Russell and that I was supposed to call 1 866-534-6599.

I proceeded to call and was met with Mr. Russell's answering machine telling me to leave a message with contact information. I left my name and number and was contacted by one of his "secretaries". She proceeded to tell me that she was Mr. Russell's secretary and that her name was Dana. I asked what her last name was and she just said Smith. I began to inquire as to who the company was and she said she didn't have that information and that she would have another person call me back. I said it was fine. Oh, and she told me the company was located in Chicago, IL when I asked.

So another woman calls me back claiming she's Mr. Russell's secretary and that she just heard my message (what happened to the first secretary? she said the same thing... huh?). So now I'm speaking to a Kristina and when I ask what her last name is she says Lee (how original). So I begin to inquire who is sponsoring the giveaway and am told Westgate Travel. So I pop the name in google and lo and behold I get a few hits for scams (thanks to those that report them!). So I begin asking a lot more questions and by this point Kristina says that she'll need to put me on hold to answer them.

So, I wait for like a minute and a Mckinee (i think that's what she said) picks up and continues to give me the whole spiel about the giveaway and I ask what her last name is and she says Pray (ha). So I inquire about the prizes and they're exactly the same as what others have posted:

2008 lincoln navigator or 45k

4 day / 3 night Bahamas cruise

2,500 cash

32" flat screen tv

And that the reason they're having the giveaway is to commemorate the launch of the new company. So by this point I tell the third "secretary" that if she was aware that there were a bunch of rip-off reports on their company which she of course said no to. Then she snickered and just ended the call abruptly and hung up.

Hurray! I'm a winner!
