It appears that after Wells Fargo Dealer Services requested proof of insurance from my insurance company (which gave it to them at least on four different occasions) that they decided that proof of insurance just wasn't good enough and added their own collision insurance fees to my monthly payment.

After telling them I had insurance and Wells Fargo assuring me they had the proof, they still added their own insurance fees to my account.

Send them via postal mail (registered or certified mail return receipt) with dispute of charges. Include copies of the insurance card . If that doesn't create a credit to your account, follow up with legal help. This is one time where I agree that if you honored the provisions and they sidestepped the contrated provisions, you have a right to dispute and be compensated correctly.
