WARRANTY USA RIP-OFFS IN BANKRUPTCY
I PURSHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY THROUGH WARRANTY USA. I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY RIPPED OFF BY THIS COMPANY.MY CAR BROKE DOWN FEB.9,2002 AROUND 6:30P.M.
ALL SHOPS WERE CLOSED AT THIS TIME,SO I WENT AND RENTED A CAR.THE NEXT DAY FEB.10,2002 I TOOK MY CAR TO THE SHOP AND LEFT IT THERE. THE GENTLEMAN STATED THAT HE COULD DET TO IT IN THE MORNING WHICH WAS FEB.11,2002.
THE GENTLEMAN CALLE ME THAT MORNING AND TOLD ME THAT WARRANTY USA TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT,BECAUSE THEY WERE IN RECIEVERSHIP AND I WOULD GET REIMBURSED. I TOLD THE MAN AT THE SHOP TO WAIT AND LET ME CALL THEM.
I CALL AND SPOKE TO ED LIRA HE WAS VERY RUDE WITH ME. I ASK ED WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR,RENTAL AND RENT A CAR AND MY CONTRCT STATES THAT ALL I HAVE TO PAY IS A $25.00 DEDUCTIBLE. ED REPLY THIS IS THE ON WAY WE CAN DO THIS, BECAUSE WE ARE IN RECIEVERSHIP.I ASKED HIM WHAT IS RECIEVERSHIP, HE THEN STATE BANKRUPTCY.
I ASKED HIM WHY ARE WE JUST FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS AND WHY DIDN'T THEY LET US NO SOMETHING.HE THEN STATED THAT HE WAS LETTING ME NOW.I ASKED HIM TO SPEAK TO HIS SUPERVISOR HE STATE NO.... I ASKED HIM WAS HE REFUSING TO LET ME SPEAK WITH HIS SUPERVISOR, HE SAID THAT IS WHAT I AM DOING. I THEN HUNG UP THE PHONE. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WAS SO RUDE AND I AM THE ONE THAT CAN'T GET THE SERVICE THAT I NEED.
