I purchased a Sanyo 42" LCD TV and the "Product Care Plan" from Wal-Mart in July of 2007. The product care plan picks up after the Factory Warranty expires (1 yr.) Dec 20,2008 my TV quit & I called the 24 hr repair line, was told someone would contact me within 24 hrs.

When it did not happen I called the repair line again (Dec 22nd) and was told my first call did not get sent on to repair and gave me the same info, to expect a call within 24 hrs. I received that call eary Tues. Dec 23rd and was told a serviceman would be there Wed to do repair. It did not happen.

I called the repair Co. back.(the # that appeared on my ID.) I was told I was not even on a list for repair and I would have to call Product Care Plan. when I did I was put on hold while they called the repair Co. and was told the repair Co found my order but it would be the next Wed. before they could send repairman.

The following Wed. Dec.31st the repairman showed but said the Power Supply was gone and he would have to order it, and that would take 7 days. I went on line & found the power supply was a stock item with 2 day del. from most suppliers. Today is Jan 24th and still TV not repaired. Wal-Mart called me on Jan 22 and said repair company has the part. However I can not use my TV with that part on thier shelf.

Wal-Mart has lost a $200.00 plus custumer by not expiditing the repair as promised. They also chose a repair company over 100 miles away from my home.
