I bought a 2008 Impala SS from Van Chevrolet on August 29, 2008. Since then I have had nothing but problems with it. So far we have had the adjustment tracks in both seats replaced, Rear Defrost Fixed, New Lifters Put in the Motor, Steering rod replaced, tire sensor fixed, problem with traction control, spark plug wires coming unhooked, as well as Some other malfunctions that were cased when they went in to fix the lifter problem. WE even had a problem the day we took it off the lot after they said "we have looked it over front to back top to bottom and everything is fixed". WELL that was not true we had gotten no further than 2 miles away when the transmission light came on and the car started making a strange noise, The gages moved up and down and he car was hesitating. WE pulled off immediatly and opened the hood.... only to find that the dealership had attached things incorrectly and had made several mistakes that they would not disclose to us. They came immediatly to our location and gave us a rental car and said "We don't know what happened.... we will try to fix it". We then got in contact with their General Manager who we thought was going to solve our problem , he was supposed to meet us at the dealership today 11/22/2008 and when we got there he was no where to be found.

A salesman took us around and was showing us different cars per our conversation with the general manager, and we found something that we liked. However, when the finance guy came over he said that they would be trading in our car and ony giving us 13,000 for it!!!! Which we had not discussed with the GM a trade, he gave us the

expectation that he was going to swap this car out.

We just bought a little under three months and we paid right at 20,000 dollars. And told us that we could get the car we were showed but our payment would go up to 744.00 a month. We told them they were out of their minds, and we left.

The next day we came back up to the dealership and finally got in contact with the General Manager. WE talked to him in a meeting with his assistant, the finance manager, my finace, and I. He said he had a perfect car coming in and he knew we would love it. That it would be ready that day, and he wanted us to take it for a couple of days and test it out. They brought the vehicle to us the next day and we had it over the thanksgiving holiday. When they dropped it off they picked up our car and took it to service.

After them having the car for 3 days , and them putting it through service, we picked up the car once again. The car was not running very smoothly, maybe even sluggish. The traction control was cutting in and out causing the tires to spin, and when it kicked in the car would finally catch and cause you to jerk around. The next day we were driving and the check engine light came on, the transmission light came on, and the service traction control light came on. The vehicle gages went crazy and the car lost power, and then regained it. WE took it immediatly to the dealership and they told us it was because of a spark plug wire coming off.

It has been one thing after another and they have not come up with a solution for this car they sold us that is clearly not up to anyones expectations.
