I applied for a USA platinum card over the internet in June 03. I realized months from that date that there was $179.99 taken out of my bank account, and I didn't know what for. I called the bank and asked them what this money was taken out for, I found out that it was for this card, however I never received this card.

After sitting on the phone with the bank for about 20 min. I finally got the right number to this company. I called this company and told them what had happened,I also told them that since I didn't receive this card, I'd rather have my money refunded to me, because I was going through some financial problems at the time. They told me that there would be something sent to me in the mail to resolve this matter, it was never sent.

After this I made 2 more phone calls, I was told the same thing yet still the problem remains. Here it is 4 months later and I'm still without my $179.99. I have a $347.00 a month car note which was late, with a late fee because I didn't have enough money to pay it. I had to practically beg for money from my friends and family.

I couldn't eat, sleep, or focus because I knew that I didn't have much money. I was an E-1 in the military, I needed all of the money I made. I had planned on getting the credit card in order to be able to have some extra money, and also to build up my not so good credit, all ordering that credit card got me was in a bigger bind. many people might argue that that's not a lot of money, but that $179.99 sent me into a deep depression.
