I used to load and unload the 40 foot trailers in Hartford. A box like yours would be classified as "incompatibles", and loaded onto the tail of the trailer and unloaded first. In that position road spray can seep into the edges of the back door and comprimise a box's integrety. (I'm not clear if your doorway is protected by rain) With only four pounds of wiggle room you are pretty limited in solutions. I looked in our Yellow Pages and found some shipping companies around Wethersfield. If you could find a SLIGHTLY larger box to slide over the original, seal it up from the bottom, (tipping it on it's side and taping the bottom flaps) then tape the UPS Return Label to the outside (If you need a new one, call the fitness company - should be no problem)... I would call UPS for a Pick Up. (1-800-742-5877..1-800-PICKUPS) Leave it in front of your door and now it's THEIR problem. If you have to pay for return shipping you can work something out over the phone to be billed. It just might work. Good luck. It's funny their company"s named looks like "OOPS".
