Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I keep reading all of these reports about Unique. It has been three years since I "worked" there. So bare with me as I am trying to remember everything those two bastards did. I worked out of the Stone Mountain, AKA, Decatur office and Norcross Office. I don't know if I could say enough bad things about this company. But, what the hell, I'll give it a shot.

First off, Mark Mingolo and Tim Mcadams are two people who straight out need to have a good old southern a*s whipping. I was hired by a manager named Zuri Williams. I thought the $75 up front fee was odd but I payed it anyway. I wasn't told too much about the company at that point. Instead I was told I would learn everything I needed to know at the saturday training. Oh, and by the way, bring another $95 for your "kit".

Saturday training is meant to get you all pumped up to go out and sell that $2,000 worth of basic fire equipment junk so that you can get your red pin. But, we were told that if we sold $750 by monday morning, we would be done with our red pin requirement and get the credit for the $2,000 sale. Even better!! Well, monday morning rolls around and guess what, go do a little bit more sales to get to your green pin. Did that too. The end of the week, it was go sell $1,000 worth and you'll get to come to the eds meeting for the high acheivers at a hotel. I thought...... Cool! Well, it turns out that the eds meeting is nothing more, than more of the same old horesh*t. You won't hear anything new there. The night before, they took everyone out to a japanese steak house and basically got everyone drunk as all hell. They had a big hotel party afterwards. All that happened their was that Tim and midjet Mark tried like hell to get in all of the girls' pants! Not to mention Mark had a girlfriend Lynn at the time who he leading around like a lost dog.

All in all, in the two months I worked for Unique, I sold $13,000. Fortunatley I didn't spend any of my own money. I finally sold enough and lied enough to make it to gold pin and sign the contract. But he made the mistake of doing it on a saturday right after the new hire training. I went into Mark's office and he told me that I had to give the company $6,000 as a "security deposit" in order to get my own office. I was so pissed off that I called him a few choice words and marched into the room where all the new hires were standing around. They and all the "old hands" were standing around wanting to congradulate me when I started telling them the real truth about the company. Everyone of them got there $95 back that day and left. So, score one for me. After that, I dropped it until I started getting calls from people I had sold to and they had not gotten there orders yet. We're talking about 8 months at this point. So, I called up the office, only to find out that the company had blown town and there number had been disconnected. Well, about three weeks later, I'm watching the evening news and they had tracked down those two and were also interviewing a few former employees and Managers. They had moved to Alabama and changed the company name. Mainly Charles, who was Tim's right hand man at the time. Apparently a few people had to file bankrupcy because of there ordeal with unique.

Bottom line. Unique was kicked out of Georgia. Thank God! So, to all you people out there who believe in this so called company and defend them. My question is simple. Why would you work for a company who's been kicked out of state after state, who has hundreds, if not thousands of BBB complaints against them, and who blows town at the first sign of trouble? Are you that gullible? Do you honstly think that a legit company would hire someone 18-25 years old with no education and put them in a managerial position with there own office? COME ON!!!!! The fact is, this company is a fraud and needs to be exposed for what it is. If there are any legal cases that need anymore witnesses against this company, then sign me up. I'de be more than happy to speak up for all those that got the shaft from Tim Mcadams and Mark Mingolo.

And just in case Mark and Tim are reading this, I know you know who I am. I know you both remember me. And my wish for the both of you is quite simple. I hope you both die before the sun comes up and may you both burn in hell! Your days of shafting all of these people are numbered and you'll be taken down. Hopefully sooner than later. I'de be willing to provide my name and number to anyone who wants help taking this company down.

Thanks

Rodney

I have submitted my own rip-off report on these people. If you will search for Safety Technologies then you will find it. I'm from Dalton GA. I replied to an add in the Birmingham News for an Office Help job that paid $15 an hour with no experience. I am certain that this company is the same as Unique Worldwide Services. The articles that everyone has written sound the same as mine. I almost fell for the $75 background fee, but decided to look it up on here first. I could not find anything on Safety Technologies, but did find someting on Unique Worldwide Services where someone stated that they had changed their name to Safety Technologies. The manager I spoke to was Julie Ann and she told me I could meet with the President the next day (Saturday). I'm sure that if I had paid the $75 that she would have then told me I had to pay the $90 for my training kit. I'm so thankful for everyone who has reported this fraud company because I am a stay at home mom who is now looking for employment and we had actually considered relocating so I could work and my husband could stay at home for a while. You have saved mine, my husband's, and my son's future. Thank you. I also hope that I can help someone else by letting it be made known the Unique Worldwide Services is now known as Safety Technologies. Oh, one more thing. I called the manager I had the interview with and asked if this was Unique Worldwide Services and she responded rudely "No, It is Not. Goodbye"
