Thanks to the internet and this web-site I was able to obtain info on United Family Circulation. On 12/04/02 a nice young man came to our door claiming to live in our neigborhood. He said he was trying to get points for his soccer team to go to a tournament in London.
He used the line that I most likely have seen his mom walk their dog. Being the sucker that I am I wrote him a check for $60.00. You know that feeling you have in your gut at times, well now I know that I should follow that gut feeling. After he left I went on-line and typed in United Family Circulation and this web-site came up with numerous hits.
I went thru the neighborhood and saw "Jacob" at one of my freinds house and confronted him and demanded my check back or I would call the police. As soon as I dialed 911 on my cell phone he ran. The police are at this very time driving thru the local neighborhoods looking for this con-man.
I fell so strong about this issue that I had to submit this report right away. I have already stopped payment on my check via a quick phone call. I hope this will help some one else as it helped me. Thanks
