TxTag false billing individual had no account Austin Texas
Began receiving bills from TxTag several months ago for my " deceased wife's " supposed toll road usage near Austin. We lived in Lubbock, and I still do. She never had an account with this organizatio..never. each toll charge had a different account # on it so I thought it was an obvious mistake. I tried to find the accounts online @ TxTag and nothing came back as a valid number. The last and final straw. Yesterday a collection letter addressed to my wife arrives from a law firm in Houstan listing the last toll road usage for my wife on may 14,2017. My wife passed away on Feb. 23, 2011, and was very ill ( chemo ) for 3 years previous to that. There is some serious illegality going on here. I e-mailed the law firm and suggested they verify the information TxTag gives them before getting involved in this mess. A law firm can be sued too, and an attorney can lose a license. This is complter BS.
