Tru Green Chem Lawn rip-off! my yard that was sprayed looks worse than it did last year without any fertilizer or pre-emergent lawn care. Glenarm Illinois
I recieved a brochure stating that Chem Lawn would treat lawns for 29.99 if I sent in the coupon. I did and was contacted by a representaive to spray the yard with pre-emergent and fertilizer once a month through the summer. I had more land than they usually do for that price so he quoted me $38 for the first application and $45 for subsequential applications.
The first application was fine. The second time he only sprayed my front yard and said it was because the back gate was locked. I had asked that they notify me before spraying because I keep that locked at all times and would unlock it for him.
A lady I spoke with told me he would come back out and spray it. He never did, and I recieved a bill for $45 though only half the work had been done. I called about this and was told they can't continue to spray my yard for "such a low price" and I still recieve the $45 bill each month. The man contracted with me via the phone to do my yard at this price! And... my yard that was sprayed looks worse than it did last year without any fertilizer or pre-emergent lawn care.
I am very dissapointed with this company. I wouldn't recommend them to any one and if I could get a refund on my first spray and second "half" spray... I would!!
