TERRIBLE TROPHY RIG OUTFITTERS
I own a 98 K2500 4x4 GMC. I went to Trophy Rig Outfitters to purchase a heavy duty rear bumper. I drove 45 minutes from Dallas to pick it up and told them I would install it because I' m particular about my truck. When I arrived home I attempted to install the bumper but the measurements were way off. The next day I drove back to Fort Worth to hopefully get a bumper that would fit. At that point they tried to install the bumper even though I told them it did not fit. After they realized this they tried another bumper which was not another perfect fit. It took them approximately 45 minutes to install the second bumper(4 bolts), during which they chipped the paint on the rear of my truck in two places. After the man that chipped the paint went into the office to answer the phone the other man said "I don't know why he forces them on like that, all he has to do is put a rag over the bumper". Then the other man returned and said he would get me some touch-up paint, and next time he was in Dallas he would drop it off since I did not want to make a third trip to Fort Worth. I still have not received the paint and my bumper is rusting profusely, even though it has never been touched. I am also not able to lower my spare due to the lowering hole in the bumper being off three inches. I feel that it is only good business that I receive a bumper that fits, lines up, and doesn't rust. I would also like my truck repainted where they chipped the paint.
