Trip Assurance Harmony Beaches Is A SCAM!!
A few weeks back I went to the mall with my boyfriend and saw a box with a "free” 4 Day, 3 Night vacation in the Bahamas. I filled it out because "why not, it’s not like I ever win anything anyways”. Now of course, today I get a text message with a scanned picture of my information I filled out at the mall. It said "Congratulations text us back and we will be happy to send you all the details” and so very excitedly I replied and got a website and was told to call their phone number to be connected with one of their agents.
The website itself was pretty sketchy, so I started looking into their legitimate website badges, which had "Travel Assurance”. After researching on both websites, I figured out that they are BOTH the same people. Super sketchy. I’ve read many reports and have seen people complain over and over again about all these fees that are showing up last minute before their trip. People are paying $800 if not more for these "free” vacation trips to the Bahamas.
I advise you read more about it through reddit or better yet, do the research, it’s almost everywhere. Don’t fall for another one of these scams trying to get you to pay almost twice the amount you would normally pay for a vacation like this. Gladly, I’ll be sitting this one out.
