On December 7, 2002 I ordered the weight loss patch, on a trial basis. I reieved the product the end of January 2003. I tried the product. I didn't like it. I returned the product after having it for 2 weeks. way before the trial period was up.

In April of 2003, Turley-Thompson TreeHouse Marketing, billed my credit card $199.95. I then called the company 800#. I talked to Charmaine. Told her i returned the product, and wanted to know why they billed my account for the amount. She told me they recieved the product after the trial period. She was goign to ship the product back to me, i told her i didn't want it. Itold her i wanted the charges off my account. She told me to fax her a copy of my credit card statement. She would take the charges off my account. So I did that.

In October of 2003. They charged my credit card again for the amount of $199.95. This time i tried to call the 800#. It was no longer in service. I had no way of contacting these people. I called my credit card company, explained to them what was going on. The credit card company tried to contact Tree House Marketing also , with no luck. So they denied the payment to Turley-Thompson.

February 2004. I recieved a letter int he mail fro Tree House Marketing signed by a Brandon C. Stating that if i didn't contact them with in a week of recieveing the letter they would take legal action to get there money.

I called the number 3 times, before I finally got someone to talk to. I got Mike on the phone. He told me they recieved the product after the trial period and thats why i owe them the money. I told Mike I was not paying him $199.95. He then proceeded to tell me that if I didn't send him the the money he would have to take me to court in Utah. And it would cost me about $1,000.00.

After I told him I would contact my lawyer. He then told me he would meet me half way with this matter. I was suppose to send him $75.00. I said "NO". I didn't owe him any thing.

After all this was said, he then told me to send him $50.00. This is for a restocking fee. I again said"NO". He said it's $50.00. or $199.95. He said, he was going to send me a letter. Stating I have to have $50.00 to him post marked no later than March 2, 2004. Or he will take me to court in Utah.

When I got off the phone with Mike, I then found all this information about this company on the internet. I sure wish I would have seen this before ordering from this company.

PLEASE HELP ME..... What do I do? should I send them the $50.00, or not?
