For about the last 3-4 months I have seen something on my SBC bill under the "Billing Summary" titled USBI. I didn't pay it much attention because I recently moved on the 1st of Oct and I just assumed that it had something to do with the transfer fees. Little did I know, I was being scammed!! I have not been able to reach the company as of yet, but I will not stop trying. The companies that are scamming everyone are "Tralee Telephone Co" and "USBI".

I have read several other reports on this website about the same 2 companies that I am reporting and they are very similar to mine. The most current bill that I have shows a charge of $15.85, but the previous ones were more, $35 & $38 for example. I took a closer look to find a description of the charges and found that my bill states "Billed on Behalf of Tralee Telephone Co" by "USBI" through SBC.

As much as I would love to call SBC and give them a few words, I know that this is not there fault and they can't do anything about it. I used to work for a telephone co. (ironic) and they can't stop a CLEC from billing you for this type of long distance because they are reporting that you authorized it. This is very similar to the 10-10-xxx #'s used when making long distance calls.

While reading other filed reports, most people said that they were unable to reach anyone by phone or they were just blown off and that they could no access the Tralee website. I failed at both as well. However, I did a yahoo search for the website "telecovalue.com" and found that the real website is www.telcovalue.com. If you go to this website you will find some interesting things. They say that they are TelCo Value (you think you are on the wrong website, you're NOT). If you click on About, Rate Plans, or FAQs, they will very clearly state that you will be billed by "Tralee Telephone Co".

If you go to the USBI website billview.com/usbi/index.htm , you can send an email to the "customer service", I have yet to see customer service. The website says that a USBI representative will contact you about your customer service issue within 2-3 days. However, after you send your email, you will get an auto-reply that states you will not be contacted for 5 business days. I don't know which one is true because I haven't been contacted yet. Not that they care, but I did advise in my email/complaint that if they did not respond in the time stated in the 2 email, I would take further action. I work for a large company in the Fraud department and I am very confident that I can get help on ending this!!!

I hope this information has helped someone and if I learn more about them, I will add it!
