Toyota ripoff there was a technical service bulletin for Toyota Sienna door handles they will not honor the recall because its over 30,000 miles and 3 years Dealer In Eatontown Internet dealer in New Jersey
I have a 1998 Toyota Sienna, it has a lot of miles but the body is still a 1998. In the past 4 months my 2 side door out side handles fell off the vehicle, last week the rear hatch back handle came off as well.
It is extremely damgerous to anyone sitting in the back seat. incase of accident or fire, they are not able to get out of the van. They are unable to open the doors from the inside.
Contacting the 800 number, I was told the van had to many miles, and it was over 3 years old. She said, Sorry, you could file a law suit. Believe me if I could afford a lawyer, I would.
I was never notified of any technical service bulletin. I was told it would cost me close to 700.00 in parts, and another 5 for installation.
I paid close to 40,000.00 for this van and the door parts arent worth the value of a dollar store.
