Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On May 31st, 2008, I purchased 2x$95, (NOT the least expensive) "FULL VIEW" tickets for Madonna at Petco Park in San Diego, CA, show date, 11.4.08. In total, with Ticketmaster fees, I paid $234 for 2, "FULL VIEW" ticket for the 11.04.08 show.

During the months leading up to the show on 11.04.08, I made SEVERAL attempts with both Ticketmaster, and the shows promoter, Live Nation, to get an ACCURATE seating chart for the event. Never happened. Both companies said it was the others responsibility. The seating chart provided DID NOT include any structures being erected on the floor area of the chart.

When I arrived at my "FULL VIEW" seats, they were anything but "FULL VIEW". My seats ended up facing the back of a sound booth! My tickets were actually "NO VIEW" tickets. I paid $234, to view a video screen, no view of the stage!

*NOTE* When you purchase tickets that have a "limited" or "obstructed view", it is stated directly on the tickets, NOT the case with my tickets.

Upon filing a complaint with Ticketmaster, Ticketmaster ADMITTED the promoter of the show, knew the area where my tickets were located, in fact, had NO VIEW. The Ticketmaster rep I spoke with, also admitted that Ticketmaster was having similar problems with the Madonna show at Dodger Stadium 2 days after my show.

Ticketmaster said they will not refund anything because, they say, it was up to me to go to the box off and complain, the show has passed. Sorry, tickets were NEVER available at the box office @ Petco Park. EVERYTHING was ticketed through Ticketmaster... the show was about to begin so, I guess I was to miss what I could see to complain to someone who had NOTHING to do with the purchase of my tickets.

Ticketmaster says the ushers were told to move us IF, IF we complained. AT NO TIME were there ushers positioned at my seating section to move us. AT NO TIME was there a sign posted to "see usher" AT NO TIME did an usher even ask to see my tickets Nothing, nothing was done to correct the situation prior to the show! What does the 65 year old usher have to do with Ticketmaster... NOTHING!!!

In the end... After 5 months of waiting for my favorite artist to perform... I paid for "FULL VIEW" tickets, got "NO VIEW".

I'm pressing on. I'm NOT taking no refund as an answer. I will not stand by and be ripped off by corporate America anymore.
