Thumbtack.co a complete and utter scam!!! Sent me fake leads over 10 a day and after quoting over 50 no job! They are a fraud! Internet
Thumbtack.com is a fraud. They claim to be an employment company connecting the public with professionals in the service industry. They send a ton of requests for quotes every day and at all hours of the night. I had to pay to send quotes even if no one responded to them! And they never did.
I am a personal chef. I requested leads for work within a 10 mile radius of my home. Do you really think there are more than 5 people looking for a private chef everyday, for over a month that live that close to me? Impossible.
I have tried to contact them via online chat and through email. I get the same BS response and they refuse to refund my money.
So i decided to log on to their website as a homeowner looking for a private chef. I received one lead. One person in over a week! and they kept trying to encourage me to hire this one chef! So they may have 1 or 2 real clients but in the meantime the keep you on the hook and keep sending you bogus leads to take your money!
These people should be arrested and shut down!
