*Consumer Suggestion: Theater Research Speakers are a ripoff

I was approached by 2 people who apparently needed to get rid of some theatre research speakers that were part of an overshipment. They had a flyer which advertised the speakers for $999US each so I thought $200 canadian was a steal. He also tried to sell us a home theatre system appparently worth $2500.

I now know the company 'theatre research' doesn't exist and no more than $50 was paid for the speakers. The packaging and the flyer is all fabricated.

The vehicle they were driving was a newer white chevy supercab with a full box lid. The driver wore an FBI shirt and a cap. There was also a passenger. The alberta license plate was either YGB-233 or YGB-234.

Had a difficult time finding the company, but if you go to www.trtheaterresearch.com, you will see that they are an actual company but, this does NOT mean they are legit
