my last update. 1/31/02 We picked up our refund in full at the tax ready office in las vegas. I am so upset that the numbers are growing in unhappy people who are getting screwed. everyone envolved with this company needs to file every complaint possible. I spent almost full time for over a month to collect this money. It is alot of work and alot of time or go to rip off revenge for help. it should come faster. good luck to anyone who made the mistake of believing them.

Since originally filing our complaint on the Rip Off Report 12/29/01, we have called Tax Ready weekly with one response to call back their office which we did over and over left voice mail messages for two solid weeks with no response. By accident one after noon I reached an operator in customer service who explained to me I must fax a request for the refund and my reasons why which I have done. Reading all the new complaints on this website particularily in what to expect from the "refund" process Tax Ready seems to put their valued customers through I am more then concerned this company is not only a real problem involving more and more people in a telemarketing scam for A LOT of money up front I believe pressure needs to be placed not only on the Better Business Bureau as the claims seem to be increasing since I first found the Rip Off Report website but the Nevada government needs involvement to protect their tax payors from this type of business. My wife will be devoting a close to full time effort in not only retreiving our $995 refund but involve all officials necessary to stop this kind of abuse to the public. we can be emailed at [email protected] if you have any suggestions or wish to join us in this fight!
