FYI: This issue had to do with Target's new streaming video service - Target Ticket.  I have been using this service through an Xbox 360, connected directly to my router, using wired Ethernet and FIOS as my ISP.

I am a relatively new user to Target's new video streaming service called Target Ticket.  I was very excited to find this service, because movie rentals are usually one or two dollars cheaper than renting through other services.  Up until recenty, I've been very pleased with both the streaming quality and service I have received.  

A couple of days ago I rented 'The Wolverine' and sat down to watch the movie.  To my chagrin, the movie almost immediately started sputtering and staggering with lots of choppy video and freezes. The first thing I did was to check my other internet connected devices, which all worked fine, so i do not believe the problem was network or ISP related.  Despite the frequent hangs and interruptions, I watched the movie all the way through, but was very disappointed.  That evening, I opened a support case and requested a full refund for the cost of the rental for the poor service.

The next day I received an email, from support, stating that I would not be reimbursed due to the fact that they delivered the movie and that I watched it all the way through.  I sent a response stating that I was very upset, by their decision and although I did watch the movie, it was a terrible experience.  I followed up with saying that I would report my experience here and with the BBB.  Their reply email was the exact same canned response I received when I first reported the incident.

I don't know what else to write here other than to say I got ripped off.  It never ceases to amaze me at how greedy these large international companies can be - even with the prospect of losing a customer and getting a complaint logged to the BBB!  The bottom line is that they just don't care.

I don't care either.  I won't sit back and get used again.
