I went through a horrible experience with this resort, and I'm out of three thousand dollars right now BUT I'm in a process to cancel my timeshare.

Its amazing to see how these scam artists try to scam other people by making them believe customer service or the 'quality' department actually cares - i cancelled my timeshare, in person, within 5 days of signing and still after 2 months i am waiting for my money - despite them even signing a cancellation letter and promising that 'it will only take 15 working days to refund'...
Don't believe ANYTHING these folks say - Stay away and enjoy your vacation - do not engage with Sunset, tres rios or any of these motherf***ers.

I have spend numerous amounts of time calling customer service contact numbers, sending faxes, and also emails, as well. No help is ever given, I just receive LIES and LIES and the run around.

Janet-sorry to hear this. they can't offer anything for free if you're not willing to give them a chance to sell you a membership. you should try calling member services. They will definitely hear you out and help you.

First off, the package you traveled in on was not free. The resort presentation you went on does not offer free stays. Nothing in life is free. However you did receive a discounted rate and probably some extras for agreeing to assist in the presentation. This is in appreciation for your time. As with anything, packages can vary in price depending on benefits available, length of membership and much more. These things affect the price of your membership. Your current membership has lots of great benefits available to you and by reading your complaint, my guess is that you just dont fully understand how to use them.
