SunRay Productions, AKA Sonny Ray Or Sonny Lay Beware of Potential Investment Opportunity.... Do your homework before investing!! Eugene Oregon
I just want to let anyone who has been contacted about investing in a concert series for SunRay Productions to be very careful. Do your homework. I worked for SunRay Productions and they still owe me money. He did not have money to pay me and it took months just to get some of it. He would say every Thursday that he would pay me "tomorrow". Well, everytime, it is "tomorrow".
Sonny does not keep any proof of past concerts except for a charity concert he did last summer. I tried to find any and all concerts he produced and was not able to confirm one concert except the charity concert that was not profitable. My job was to get potential investors to raise capitol to produce a concert this summer. Potential investors would ask him questions and if they pressed him for answers, he would get angry. He has never been able to provide any sort of proof of concert production.
Although he did a great job at the charity concert last summer, I don't doubt his ability to produce a good show. My concern is that he has no proof of anyone investing in his concerts and producing an invested concert. He is not willing to write in any guarantees should the concert not happen. The potential investors that were interested have backed out and I feel for good reason.
My other concern is his ability to manage money. He does not owe me much and is unable to pay me. I have work that I have done for him and it is all on my computer. I told him that he could have all of the documents that I have produced when he pays me.
Sonny is good at making promises but horrible at coming through with those promises. I kept my word and brought potential investors to meet with him. I also did some office work for him. He has not kept his word. I have left him messages and he does not call me back. He is extremely unprofessional.
I recommend that with any investment you look into who you are investing in. If you have money to invest and don't mind if you don't see a return, then by all means take a chance. I hope for the investors sake who have already invested that this concert this summer does happen. He mentioned possibly having to produce the concert next summer. I can only suggest you wait to give him your money until then. You make the interest off of your money!
