When you are a desperate parent of a drug addicted child, sometimes you don't do all the research you should when looking for a rehab facility.  That is the case in my story. Did not know that Narconon is nothing more than the church of scientology's version of drug rehab....actually their way of preying on weak addicts and their families looking for help.

The admissions counselor we spoke with lied to direct questions regarding any connection to the church of scientology, whether there are trained & certified medcial personnel on the premises, and whether their sauna/vitamin protocol regimen were safe.  There are not any trained medical staff(maybe on paper), regimen is not safe, and they certainly do have more than just "ties" to church of scientology.  Their 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon course work comes straight out of the scientology doctrine...L. Ron Hubbard's name is on each page! word for word even.

For well over $25,000 you don't even get towels....yes, you heard me right...you don't get towels provided.  The place is nasty, grungy, and the staff is barely clean and sober themselves. I was told by my child that alot of the staff...let's just say, there is alot of fraternization going on and none of them were clean for over a years time.  My child never saw a dr., was examined, had any labwork done, nothing of the sort, as promised.  Where does all this money paid to them up front go then, I wonder?

Please do your homework...The Love lawsuit of January 2011 and the former members of the cult, the higher ups, you can find their court documents...are now public records...and they attest that this same kind of "policy" goes on at all Narconon facilities.  They also claim to accept insurance.  What they mean by that is...you pay, they tell you to give to your insurance company for re-imbursement, and your insurance company tells you they won't re-imburse because they are only CARF accredited...the lowest accreditation on the ladder  of accreditations....and you are stuck.  Lawsuits going on in Michigan and other states regarding the insurance issue.  you can check out (((ROR redacted)))
