Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I put a variety of posessions in Storage after graduating from the Stanford Business School this year and went for a trip in Europe for several months.

Upon my return, I discovered that my electronic equipment was stolen (all my other posessions were still there). The lock was still in perfect condition with no sign of forced entry and my other boxes were stacked in disorder in my storage unit.

Quite naturally, I became extremely mad. I confronted the manager on duty and all I got back was a cold dismissive reply and a reluctance to investigate the issue to my satisfaction.

I filed a police report and went through the log of entry into my unit, at which point I discovered that someone had enterred my unit in July (when I was out of the country). The more interesting part was that this person used my electronic code (which only I and the storage USA staff knew) to enter the unit.

I became immediately suspicious that this was an inside job and remembered that I had mentioned traveling to the staff on duty when I rented the unit. The manager was again dismissive and said something to the effect of "we'll look into it and get back to you later". Needless to say, I haven't heard from Storage USA yet.

I would like to know that there is an investigation under way to determine how this could have happened and who is truly responsible.
