Storage Battles/Storage Treasures Public Storage Auctions PRIVATE MEMBERSHIP only to Bid scottdale Arizona
Class action law suit is overdue,or law makers should be informed ? Storage battles is a online storage auction site that provides online auction.I have two rip off complaints.
First,in order to bid on these local "public lien auctions" .."you must belong to the private membership of storage battles,and own a credit card for these "public cash lien auctions".Online public auctions discriminates against a class of cash buyers and in my opinion are breaking some local state laws and federal laws.These auctions are title public lien sales,open to all to buy a lien storage unit of contents.
2nd rip off, tenants losing their belongings are being charge and sued for the difference of the amount owed and the amount received at the auctions.The storage companies using this private membership club are not migating the most from these auction on storage battles.First by leaving a class of cash buyer unable to purchase a unit for a higher amount, and second a Major defect in the process that "storage battles" operate these auctions on line.
I will explained,with no soft bidding ,which when the last two minutes of bidding,every new bid restart the clock back to the final 2 mins,this bring more money for the units,just like a live auction.No soft bidding allows an online buyer to place a bid at the last second and win the unit for less money,so the tenant is sued in collections for a higher amount.
I conducted a test,a live auction unit was purchased for $400.00 cash,resold on storage battles for only $20.00 additional information, staged units now are common with storage battles private sellers and storage managers alike.The sales pitch of not having 100 buyers comng to a auction sale,well that the law and part of the business,
sold to the highest bidder,not sold to a few online bidders with credits cards....
