Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Course was bought at $US2.5K at theultimateecomsystem.com/. Video here: player.vimeo.com/video/266337453

Course offerings:

  1. 30 days of “hand held” every detail covered training where you get over 11 modules and over 90+ training walking you through the entire A-Z systems that run our 8-figure eco empire
  2. Private “members only” Facebook group so you can network with like minded, success driven peers and have an accountability group
  3. Advanced training on scaling your business, and the mindset and principles required to make 7-8 figures per year in your e-commerce store (Advanced mindset and business growth trainings)

Within a few days, merchant removes all access to content without reason and request from my end. No email correspondence, no calls, nothing.

We later found out that he does this to all those who purchased his course. As soon as he gets a certain number of refunds, he starts to strong arm subsequent requests and blocks them on all communication channels, leaving buyers to go by dispute route. If you don't intend to refund and blocks all access, do you reckon the buyer to sit still and do nothing?

We also caught wind of several others whom he treats the same way and we are gathering cases for a class action suit in various states. If he's done it now, we're pretty sure he has done it before and he will do it again. We also have snapshots of his messenger correspondence with people whom he gave out refunds (for the first few people) and tries to hush them when people ask them about thier refund process.

In a recent post (which he deleted) in his public group "facebook.com/groups/EcomElites/", apparently someone also request for refund for his over-hyped course, and he said "I'll give him a refund eventually, but for sure not an easy one." If that's the attitude he gives to his customers, AVOID THIS GUY LIKE THE PLAGUE if you are thinking of buying anything from him.

Later on, we found out that this was not the only time this Steve Tan did this. Check these stories out.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kreyos (Funny if you read the last part, "Additionally, Kreyos has responded to negative feedback by deleting the comments and links to the Better Business Bureau left on their social networks." Exact same behavior!)

Sounds like a trend, ain't it? Promised a great deal, under deliver, tries to strong arm refunds, and if all these fail, write a sob story hoping it will tide down after a few years.

What do you think? Does this look like a commercial crime to you?
