St-Joseph Manor Unfair & Unjust, shows favorites to Certain Employees, Bryan Texas
I am writing this report to show how i feel about St-joseph Manor and the supervisor of the nursing unit in Bryan Tx. i started st-joseph in March the 13th of 2006. on the 17th of march i took ill by a virus they had going on at that time so i called in sick. later that morning i rec'ved a call from my supervisor very rude and no compassion at all stating that WE DO NOT CALL IN ON OUR 90 DAY Probation,at that time i told her i caught some type of virus that i know came from that facility she said to me THAT DOES NOT MATTER!!
when i got back to work i recieved a write up. another instance i was sent home by the asst d.o.n due to pink eye and DR took me off work I got back i recived a write up. now this place have their policy and i do understand this but the thing i feel is wrong and she shows favrotes is i was terminated by phone on my off day due to me having to go to court. Now i have had warnings about my attendance's for sickness this is the only thing i have ever been written up for. nothing else no patient neglect abuse or nothing like that no tardies. nothing.
But i do Know of people (2) that she has hired back gave another chance too and they actually had Fights and went to jail from the facility. this happend in front of family members and patients But being that these 2 people she liked now i have asked for my job back and wasn't able to do so. but when i had my exit interview they told me i would have to go work somewhere else for 1 yr and i could come back and this was the policy but the 2 people i talked about above was not gone a yr 9 months at the most, and i know in a healthcare faciltiy if that type of behavior happends most facility's report it to the nursing registry and the persons are no longer able to be rehired, but they were and still have their certifications/ license.
so this is the reason i feel i was not treated unfairly and unjust. all mine was minor compared to these 2 people.
