Specialty Merchandising Corporation Smart Living Corporation Tried to get my bank acct. # so they could "SUPPOSEDLY" deposit some money to help me. Internet
Hello, I was contacted out of the blue yesterday on my email site,
which they must have obtained from some website that I may have
signed up to receive coupons or something.
Because some of those coupon sites and whatever, have in the small print at the bottom, that most of us never read: "by clicking go/start/etc. you are giving us permission to share your e-mail address to other companies who might believe you would be interested in their products", or however they small print it.
This Specialty Merchandising Corporation did everything in their "schpiel" to convince me that I was going to be making hundreds of dollars daily by virtually buying products from them,(at a fraction of their actual MSRP), and then selling them to my customers AT MSRP-(Manufacturerers Suggested Retail Price), and making huge profits.
After listening to all their promises, for 20-30 minutes, I was somwhow able to convince them that I needed to think it over. THANK GOD!
It has always been my practice to look up potential transactions with any company that I am considering doing business with.
I'm so happy I found your website before I became another rip-off customer.
I have reported them to aol.com, and despite my many searches, I have been unable to find their e-mail address.
Anyway, here's the real reason I'm posting this report: Can you believe that I actually got a phone call from these jerks about a half hour ago!!!
The very first thing that the rep. said to me was: Hello,I'm calling you to let you know that we are the new "Smart Living Corporation", because we had to clear our image which some customers that were not successful with "Specialty Merchandise Corporation", have damaged our reputation!
Can you believe that? Just as I was saying "Sorry but I'm not interested in your company",the rep. was trying to say,"Are you the guy...,Then I hung up!!
I can't believe it, to this moment, that my conversation with them yesterday, where the supervisor told me,"Mr. #$@$, now you're scaring me, would you please call back tomorrow?" So, just beware, everyone, they changed their name
to "Smart Living Corporation", overnight!! I'm just overwhelmed with joy, that I scared them into changing their name!! I wonder how many times they've done this before? Anyway, just be warned,"Specialty Merchandise Corporation" is now:
"Smart Living Corporation",(probably "SLC").Hope I've saved somone their money.
