Received a call from Sellitnowmotors. They offered for a fee of $300, they would sell my car within 90 days. If they did not sell my car within the 90 days, I would be entitled to a full refund. Well the 90 days is off and they would not even return my phone calls or emails. I know that I am not the only one that is going through this with this company. I'm looking to join a group or be a part of a class action suit against this company. There is no way a company like this should be able to continue running their business and ripping people off like this.

Who's responsible?

The larger concern seems to be that we contacted this customer initially. This is true. However, we require payment from the customer to post an ad. The customer has a choice to purchase regardless of how he was contacted. Additionally, the customer purchased an advertisement. He did not purchase a guarantee. This is merely an incentive to purchase. Any rebate, warranty, or guarantee will have terms and conditions that apply. We email these to the customer the day they sign up. They are also posted on the homepage of our website. We cannot reasonably expect a sales person to go over every aspect of these terms over the phone. They are made available to every customer and accessible to any prospective customer. The bottom line is that a customer has a choice to purchase our services. They have the information available to be informed. Why are we to blame for a customer purchasing a service and neglecting to follow through with the requirements? Where does our responsibility end? Should we be held accountable for a customer not following the instructions that we made available and sent to him?

Sellitnowmotors is out right a fraud

First of all, Sellitnowmotors initiated contact with me by calling my number that was listed on Autotrader. The sales person very specifically said that they give a full refund if the car does not sell within 90 days and never did he ever mentioned that you have to fill out any forms to register for a refund within 7 days of starting the service. He even went on to say that they have no problem giving full refunds because they don't make money from providing financing the car to their customers and not from advertising it. Sellitnowmotors finally returned my message. They keep saying that his refund policy is on their website and on the welcome package that they sent to me. Well they just don't seem to get the point that it was them who called me on the phone and setup the order by phone and not by website so there was no way I would know what was put on their website. All I had to go on was by what their sales guy promised and that was a full refund after 90 days. Also, never once did any welcome or startup package was sent to my email stating this policy as well. Guys think about this...what kind of company would call you and offer you a full refund for service after 90 days but make you register for this refund within the first 7 days of opening the service in order to get your refund. This must be the reasons why they purposely don't tell you about the registration part. Go look this sleezy compay up on the Better Business Beaureu and see what sort of company you're dealing with. Also google sellitnowmotors and you'll see that these people are shady!

90 day money back guarantee

We do offer a 90 day money back guarantee program. The terms and conditions are available on our website at www.sellitnowmotors.com. They are clearly listed on the homepage. We also email them to every customer when they list with us. The customer is required to complete two forms. I do not know what the particular details are of this customer's case, but it is our assumption that he did not complete the required forms. Just as any company requires certain paperwork for a rebate or warranty, so do we. Businesses must also protect themselves. Without these forms, every customer could use our advertising services and then be credited back in 90 days and basically receive our services for free.
