Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I apologize now for spelling errors!

I purchased 4 tires from SD Wheel Corp. When I had the tires mounted on brand new rims, the Les Schwab Manager informed me that 3 of the 4 tires, "Were not round!" They road force tested them at 100+ lbs of force to try and make them round but, to no avail. They ended up puting over 20 oz of weights on each of the tires and now if I attempt to drive my vehicle it begins to shake apart.

I provided exstensive documentation of the problem to SD Wheel Corp. but, they are refusing to help me. Instead they said it is a manufacturer warranty issue. Now every adult knows that the issue is between the seller and the buyer, it has nothing to do with the manufacturer and the buyer. The seller can take it up with the manufacturer, as they are representing thier products but, it has nothing to do with the buyer. I requested to speak to a supervisor in writing and left a voice message 2 times to reveal this simple business practice but, it has been 4 days with no response. Instead the rebutle I got in writing when requesting a manager is posted below.

RESPONSE:

I completely understand your frustration on this. Please know that these tires are shipped directly from the manufacturer and the only way to tell if a tire is OOR is to be mounted and balanced. Unfortunately, there is no way to expedite this warranty. Federal tires do not carry a mileage warranty and they will have to be shipped in and inspected after they issue me an RMA. The ONLY way to speed up the process is for you to put down a deposit and we will ship out replacements. Once the tires are back and IF DEEMED DEFECTIVE we should be able to issue a credit on the remaining tread. The reason I ask for the RMA from the manufacturer first is to try and avoid the shipment back of non defective tires. If you were to place the deposit and these tires were not deemed defective you would forfeit your deposit.

Please understand I am doing everything to rectify this situation and your patience is appreciated.

Thank you,

Again, I was sold 4 tires, 3 of which are not round. I paid $1,142 for them and there is exstensive, unrefutable evidence that the tire are not round and this guy is asking me for money and is attempting to place some portion of selling me unsafe, defective goods on me by saying,"if deemed defective," in all caps. This is his response to me asking to speak with his boss???  What is RMA and OOR (out of round?) It is terrible to use jargon with customers...
