rip-off ... SCOTT MAIN New Jersey...my car is a lemon
After my company closed down I had to run out and buy a used car since I always used a company car. I found a place and purchased a 1993 Aerostar Van. I asked the salesman if there was a warranty and he told me no but they would make sure that it passed state inspection. When I got the van home I found there was many things wrong with it that the dealer tried to hide.
I accepted the problems because I was in a rush to buy something and felt responsible for not checking the van more thoroughly. However, the van "did not" pass inspection. I tried several times to contact the owner to no avail. I need my van to work and now I am down to the last 3 days that I can drive my van.
Please help me, I am in dire straits and so stressed out. I just started a new job and can't afford to lose it. I can't afford a cab and we don't have buses.
I might add that they even tried to cover up some of the warning lights on the van so I wouldn't see them come on.
