BTW: This was not an after hour or week end call . And it just so happened for some reason we ended up with a drip leak in our bathroom I know not all jobs are the same but . My husband after working 10 hours (Not a Plumber) But has some expieriences doing repairs. while working for the city. he did repairs for elderly or the disabled. He took the parts off went to Lowes bought the same type of pipe for $9.00 and came home replaced everything he didnt cable any line we had no blockage (Neither did my mom I guess added more time???) it took about 2.30 hours . I did call Wayne BTW "he is the guy who handles these types of complaints" I called him when I found out what had happened he told me he'd check into this he did and he called me back as he said he would. He explained to me that there was lots of drive time and they we so kind in not charging my mom for (I dont know) and that they "USE QUALITY PARTS" (My mom said the tech Scott said he had to run to lowes to get a piece he didnt have). But when he told this to me he made it sound like they went through some special Roto Rooter parts place. I like Lowes we go there all the time. My mom told me she told Scott dont cash till wed. that she had to go put money in the account to cover the check. He agreed That was sooooooooooo thoughtful. I see Roto Rooter Trucks it makes me wonder hmmmm (hopeing that someone else wont have this happen.
